Martindales Limited has launched a new service enabling customers to make their policy excess contribution payment online.
The service, delivered through the Martindales Limited website, can also be used to pay any other balances owed such as additional or upgraded product purchases.
Martindales has for many years offered customers the ability to make such payments by credit or debit card over the telephone. The new services increases the options available to customers, who are increasingly using online facilities for the payment of goods & services.
The service has been enabled by further development of the existing, widely used Martindales consumer web portal to allow a secure login via a user name and user-defined password.
A new ‘payments’ page on the site automatically lists all balances outstanding for the customer – the user then simply clicks the button to make a payment by their chosen method, using the ‘shopping basket’ approach that many consumers are used to seeing in online transactions.
The payment gateway used on the Martindales portal is provided by Sage Pay, a well known and respected international provider. The service is fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), giving customers complete peace of mind.
The Martindales ‘Customer Care Guide’, supplied to customers at the survey visit, has been updated to include details of the new service. In addition, any letters issued reminding customers to make their excess contribution payment have been revised to make customers aware of this new facility.
Our consumer web portal already offers customers the ability to check on the progress of their claim, listing key milestone dates such as upcoming survey & installation appointments.
